 I have loved having a "girls" weekend with my daughters!!  They are so much fun to be around and always keep me on my toes!!

Pancakes and PJ's

This morning was all about fun!!  Instead of waking up and jumping into my normal Saturday routine of cleaning I decided lets have some fun and make some yummy pancakes.  The girls were all too happy to jump in and help me.  Maddy stayed in the kitchen the whole time while Hayley popped in and out.

Sometimes you just have to set everything aside and take some time with the kiddos!!!!

Yesterday I took my girls out to do some shots at a new location I came across the other day.  I needed to get some shallow depth of field vs deep depth of field shots for my assignment in my photography class this week.

Minus the one pouty face picture we had fun!! 

A Fairy Princess....

Little miss Madelyn was playing dress up so I decided to get a few shots!!!  To bad once I got everything set up the sunlight was almost gone!!  But we had fun anyways.

It's all about me....

Today I finally decided that I need to be more comfortable in front of the camera instead of always behind.  I recently signed up for a photography course and some of the course work is self portrait so I decided to get a jump on it and just take a few shots in my family room just so I don't get stressed about it when the time comes to do it for real.  I actually found it quite fun to put the timer on run to the couch pose and check the shot.  My 2 year old was a willing participant in my shenanigan!!!  We had fun!  Here are a few of our shots....there are many more but we don't have heads in all of them due to tripod positioning lol!!!

Who says girls can't play with firetrucks.....

I took Maddy out to do some pictures and she ran from the spot we were taking pictures to go play with a dirty old fire truck.....

She however did allow me to get a few shots...

Still not sure if I like the black and white better....
